Kisumu Women Rep Ruth Odinga has come out and sent a message and issued demands months to the 2027 General Elections.

Taking to her official social media account, today, Ruth Odinga claimed that they are not content with just two Cabinet slots.

She went ahead to demand a greater stake in the next Government that will win 2027 elections.The Raila Odinga sister, appeared to push for more slots for ODM Party. 

Remember two ODM leaders from Nyanza region were appointed as Cabinet Secretaries under the Broad-based Government. They are CS Treasury John Mbadi and CS Energy Opiyo Wandayi.

Ruth Odinga has now demanded more stake in the next Government, making it clear that they won't accept just two CS slots. 

She called for unity arguing that their unity will help push for a greater stake in the next Government, that's more Ministers, more Principal Secretaries and a seat at the table where it matters.

"Unity is our only currency for negotiation. We are not content with just two cabinet slots. We demand a greater stake in the next government. More Ministers, more Principal Secretaries and a seat at the table where it matters." Reads Ruth Odinga's message
